For Tired Women Building Big Things

Curated tools I actually use and love—zero sponsorships, all soul.

Think of it as a certain 90’s talkshow host’s “favorite things” but just my version for YOU!!

First off, let me say, I am NOT PAID for recommending any of this :) I simply have been a software nerd for most of my life and have tons of things I love to use that I want to pass on to you all!

1. My Current Obsession

**LookAway.app -** Lifesaver for any human on a screen most of the day

I just started using this a month ago, and it’s already changed the game for me. It gently reminds you to take eye and posture breaks when you’ve been staring at the screen too long. Beautifully designed and super intuitive. I feel more human every time I use it.

Free version is great. Paid version has even more features if you want to dive deeper.

2. My Digital Housekeeper

**CleanMyMac — For Cleaning Up the Digital Clutter**

Also just started using this month and I love it. It’s intuitive, easy to understand, and helps clean up your Mac with one click. Perfect for clearing space, organizing files, and keeping things running smoothly.

They also offer apps for your phone and other platforms. It’s a full suite for digital decluttering.

3. A More Secure Inbox

**ProtonMail — Gmail/Outlook Alternative (from Switzerland 🇨🇭**)

A much more secure email alternative that is SO easy to use. Switching from Gmail or Outlook was seamless. It integrates beautifully, protects your privacy, and just feels clean and trustworthy.

Highly recommend if you want a digital space that’s a little more sovereign.

Canva.com

Even just the first paid tier is incredible—but the free version is surprisingly powerful.

Great for making slide decks, social posts, and lead magnets without needing design training.

Time Tracking

Toggl.com

My go-to for years. Clean, no-frills tracking that keeps me accountable without overwhelming me. Great for freelancers, creatives, and anyone trying to reclaim their time awareness.

For your Soul

Insight Timer

A beautiful meditation app that’s easy, free, and full of soul. I found this years ago during some darker days, and it helped me come back to center.

You can use it for music, ambient sound, guided meditations, or quiet breathing breaks.

Free version = solid. Paid version = extra resources if you want to go deeper.
